Vahram Ter-Matevosyan has received his Dr. Philosophy Degree in history from the University of Bergen (Norway), Master’s degree from Lund University (Sweden), Candidate of historical sciences degree from the Institute of Oriental Studies (Armenia). He was Visiting Professor at Duke University, NC (2016), Fulbright Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, CA (2009-2010) and Visiting Doctoral Student at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA (2005). He specializes in the history of Kemalism, political Islam, political parties and elections, Armenian-Turkish and Turkish-Russian relations. He has also published extensively on the conflicts in the South Caucasus. He has authored three monographs and co-authored two books. He has published around 30 research articles both in edited volumes by Routledge, Springer and in peer-reviewed journals indexed by Scopus and Web of Sciences. In 2021, the Science Committee of Armenia has recognized him as a scholar with a high academic efficiency.

Արաքս Փաշայանը պատմական գիտությունների թեկնածու է, ԵՊՀ Արևելագիտության ֆակուլտետի դոցենտ, ՀՀ ԳԱԱ Արևելագիտության ինստիտուտի միջազգային հարաբերությունների բաժնի պետ։ Նա զբաղվում է քաղաքական իսլամի, միջազգային հարաբերություններում իսլամական գործոնի, Ադրբեջանի ներքին և արտաքին քաղաքականության մեջ իսլամի նշանակության, արցախյան խնդրի վերաբերյալ իսլամական աշխարհում ձևավորված տեսակետների, արաբական-իսլամական աշխարհում հայկական սփյուռքին առնչվող թեմաների ուսումնասիրության խնդիրներով։ Հարյուրից ավելի հոդվածների և չորս մենագրությունների հեղինակ է։

Ռուբեն Մելքոնյանը պատմական գիտությունների դոկտոր է, պրոֆեսոր, ԵՊՀ Արևելագիտության ֆակուլտետի դեկան։ Նրա հետազոտությունները նվիրված են Թուրքիայի նորագույն պատմության և աշխարհաքաղաքականության հիմնախնդիրներին։ Նրա գիտական հետաքրքրությունների շարքին են պատկանում Թուրքիայում հայության ու այլ փոքրամասնությունների խնդիրների ուսումնասիրությունը, հայ-թուրքական հարաբերությունները, Թուրքիայի արտաքին քաղաքականությունը և այլն։ Նա բազմաթիվ մենագրությունների և գիտական հետազոտությունների հեղինակ է։ Մի քանի տարի շարունակ, այդ թվում և 2021 թ․, Գիտության կոմիտեն Ռուբեն Մելքոնյանին ճանաչել է որպես բարձր արդյունավետությամբ գիտաշխատող։
Nazeli Navasardyan

Dr. Nazeli Navasardyan, Ph.D. in History and Associate Professor currently serves as a Senior Research Fellow in the International Relations Department at the Institute of Oriental Studies, NAS RA. Additionally, she holds positions as a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Yerevan State University and the International Scientific Educational Center of NAS RA. With a decade of experience, she previously served as a lecturer at the Faculty of International Relations, Armenian-Russian (Slavic) University. As a Research Fellow, Dr. Navasardyan actively contributed to research initiatives at the Analytical Center of the Institute for National Strategic Studies, Ministry of Defense of RA. She specializes in Iran’s modern history, Iran’s foreign and domestic policy, and Geopolitical transitions in the South Caucasus and the Middle East. Additionally, her expertise extends to Comparative Regionalism in the Caspian and Central Asia. She has authored a monograph, published 15 scientific articles, and actively contributes as a member of the editorial board for the “Contemporary Eurasian” scientific journal.

Վարդան Ոսկանյանը բանասիրական գիտությունների թեկնածու է, դոցենտ, ԵՊՀ Արևելագիտության ֆակուլտետի իրանագիտության ամբիոնի վարիչ։ Նրա հետազոտությունները նվիրված են Իրանի և Ադրբեջանի պատմությանը, մերձկասպյան տարածքների ու Աֆղանստանի էթնո-լեզվաբանական խնդիրներին և այլն։ Նրա հետազոտությունները լույս են տեսել Հայաստանի և օտարերկրա հեղինակավոր պարբերականներում։
Naira Sahakyan

Dr. Naira Sahakyan is an Assistant Professor in History at the American University of Armenia. Her research focuses on ethnoreligious nationalism and political discourses in the Caucasus and the Middle East. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Humanities from the University of Amsterdam (Netherlands) and a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies from Yerevan State University (Armenia).
Dr. Sahakyan served as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Cambridge for the academic year 2022-2023, a library-affiliated scholar at the University of Illinois from 2022 to 2024, and a visiting scholar at the University of Washington in 2018. She is the author of Muslim Reformers and the Bolsheviks: The Case of Daghestan (Routledge, 2022) and Armenian Price of Peace: The Revolutions of 1917 and the Future of Armenia in the Perception of the Armenian Intelligentsia (Newmag, 2023, in Armenian). Sahakyan’s research has been published in high-ranked journals, including Southeast European and Black Sea Studies, Central Asian Survey, Revolutionary Russia, and Caucasus Survey.
Varuzhan Geghamyan

Varuzhan Geghamyan earned his Ph.D. in history from Saint Petersburg State University (Russia). Currently, he works at Yerevan State University (Armenia), Faculty of Oriental Studies as an assistant professor. As an expert on Turkey and the Middle East, he worked in the Ministry of Defence of RA, RA Government bodies (2016-2018). In 2019-2021 he was the adviser of Armenia’s President Armen Sarkissian on Turkey and the Middle East. As an expert Dr. Geghamyan appeared on Forbes, Newsweek, Fox News, Al Jazeera, RIAC, Al Ahram, SBS, etc. with op-eds and interviews.
He has authored 3 monographs (“History of Turkish Republic”, “Handbook of Modern Azerbaijan”, “Hate Speech against Armenia in Turkey”), 11 scientific articles, numerous analytical reports about regional political and geopolitical developments. He speaks Armenian, Russian, English, Azerbaijani, Turkish, Persian.
